The Equality Network is a non-partisan group working to improve the well-being of all New Zealanders.
New Zealand has seen significant change and growth over the last 30 years. We are regarded as one of the least corrupt countries in the world and are valued for our innovation and sense of fair play. However, along with the benefits of growth has been an unprecedented rise in inequality.
The Equality Network works to promote positive and practical solutions to inequality because more equal societies are better for everyone. The aim of the this network is to enhance and support member organisations as they work for a fairer New Zealand.
You can view a list of the network members on the Equality Network website.
A strong link has also been developed with the UK’s “The Equality Trust”: An organization dedicated to promoting “The Spirit Level” in Britain.
